Every Which Way - Single Blue
This collection was inspired by the beautiful handmade ceramic tiles that I brought back from Penland School of Crafts when I studied there in 2017. When I broke up the tiles in 2022 to create this collection, they took on a life of their own. I began to explore how they fit together, using stacks of slate and lines of smalti to form connections.
This series is all about accepting and embracing life however it shows up. The nature of life (like nature) is that it goes Every Which Way But Straight. May we embrace all the winding paths fully and with an open heart!
Hand-designed with ceramic, slate, and smalti.
Mosaic is 4” x 4”, or 7” x 7” with frame.
Custom framed in white oak.
