Coming Home
This mosaic takes inspiration from a topographical map of Asheville which is nestled in the Western North Carolina mountains, my new home.
It’s all about coming home to yourself, your true nature, and to the land that nourishes us.
It’s made with rocks foraged in the mountains around Asheville, pearls given to me by my mother many years ago, shale, slate, filati (hand-pulled glass rods), and polymer clay.
